Christmas!

Christmas is nearly here. We are very excited in our house about the upcoming holiday. The kids have had a blast with our Elf on a Shelf. They wake up every morning and are so excited to see where "Snowflake" is hiding. Claire especially shrieks with excitement when she sees Snowflake. If you have young kids, I would highly recommend it. We have been keeping busy with various Christmas activities. Last Saturday we attended the Thomson Reuters Holiday party. They don't do a regular Christmas party for the employees, just one for the kids. We had a great time. Both kids had some treats, got their faces painted, got a nice gift and colored some pictures.

On Sunday Evan had his Christmas program at Church. His class sang "Away in a Manger" and "Oh Come Little Children". He did great singing, even though the little girl behind him kept pestering him. We enjoyed a piece of pie at Bakers Square after the program even though it was freezing cold and snowing. I LOVE their candy cane pie!!
On Tuesday, Evan had his Christmas program at Preschool. He was excited that his class got to be the stars this year. They sang a few cute songs and they even had a real Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. Claire really liked seeing the baby.
Tomorrow we are heading to Macy's to see the 8th floor auditorium (Day in the Life of a Elf) and to see Santa. More pictures to follow!!
We hope that you have a- very Merry Christmas!
