One Fish, Two Fish....

We headed to my parents' cabin this past weekend for the first time since January. It was great to be up there again. We had a really nice time despite a couple of windy days. It also happened to be fishing opener in Wisconsin so Karl went over to Big Mike's to get our family fishing license on Saturday afternoon. The kids were so excited to fish off the dock, especially Claire. Evan had the best luck and caught two pretty good sized fish on Sunday afternoon. The first was a bass and the second was a carp. Poor Grandpa couldn't get his nap in because Evan kept running in to have him come look at his fish! Claire didn't catch anything, but it is pretty tough to catch a fish when you won't leave the line in the water! Poor Karl spent the whole time untangling lines. Evan is excited to go back up to the lake to catch more fish. Maybe next time Claire will have better luck too!
